Welcome to Our Mountain Family

Patrick Macharia also known as mr patrick guide a kenyan mountain guide

"JAMBO! I'm Patrick Macharia, and what started as an alternative for survival, transitioned to be what I needed in life. Mountains have taught me to be persistent, patient with myself and others, to be kind, strong and forgiving, for at times nature is unforgiving, and we must be present to fill the gap. For that reason, we know by guiding people up and down through the toughest terrains in Africa, be it Kilimanjaro, Mount Kenya or even the Rwenzoris, we are sure that with every step up or down on these mountains, you will not come back to civilization the same way—though squeezed, but not broken. I am also proud to be the founder and lead guide of Kilele Clan, where we continue to share the profound magic of the outdoors."
